“Dear honored guest, you have been invited to the coronation of King Macbeth! He shall be the
sun that shines on our nation bringing prosperity and light. Please join in the festivities today
from 2-6 at the Royal Palace.” I reed the invitation aloud to myself. What a shame that my dear
King Duncan has passed. I will accept this invitation to contribute my respect for the country he
loved so dearly. My king? This Macbeth who is a simple soldier? I doubt he’s worthy of being
king.
I must dress appropriately to attend a royal coronation. On my way to the tailor, the signs of
celebration are everywhere. People singing and dancing in the street. Children dance to the
music as their parents toast a drink. “TO MACBETH!” they shout as their mugs collide. King

brick path led me to the entrance of the palace which was at least 5 stories tall. As I entered the
palace I saw that many guests began to gather and started conversations. The people talked at
tables as they drink tea together telling stories of their times apart. After some time passed, a
guard opened the doors to the throne room and said “herye herye all beloved guests, it is now
time to greet the new King Macbeth! Please make your way to the throne room now. " With that
announcement, the guests began pouring into the throne room.
After all the guests had entered Macbeth said “Welcome and Thank You for coming to my
