My prediction is that the colour of the starch solution is going to
• Glass rod from yellowy-brown to blue


• Test-tube rack Procedure:

• Add the starch solution in the test-tube.
• Iodine solution
• Place 2-3 drops of iodine solution into the test tube and mix it w
• Starch solution glass rod.

• Observe and note down the change in the colour appearance of the s
• Test-tube within the test-tube.



Result:

The solution changed colour from yellowy-brown to blue



Evaluation:

Because the colour changed from yellowy-brown to blue, this shows th
solution was containing starch and that my hypothesis was correct.
