Assessment instructions
The accounts department at Wee Toon Manufacturing prepare management
accounts each month to inform the directors of the financial position of the company
so they can compare this to the budget set at the beginning of each year.
As part of your training you are working alongside the company accountant helping to
prepare the management accounts and have been asked to complete some of the
tasks.
There are some transactions for you to update into the cash book as well as the
customer and supplier accounts, which once complete, will give you totals for
inclusion in the period end accounts.
On the pages that follow, you have been provided with pro forma documentation
including the cash book for the business and a selection of customer and supplier
accounts from the receivables and payables ledgers.
