CARRY OUT A STRUCTURED ANALYSIS OF A
SPECIFIED BUSSINESS PROCCESS (P4).
Structured analysis is software developing technique that uses graphical diagram to
develop system specifications that can be easily understood by the users. These
graphical diagrams defined the steps that needed and data required to meet design
function of particular software. There are variety of tools and techniques that can
be used to carry out structured analysis. Using investigation materials provided,
I’m going to carry out the structured analysis of the current (As –Is) customer
services used at Al Rafiq. I have been asked to provide DFDs, inputs, outputs and
processes.

DATA FLOW DIAGRAM.

This is the visual tool that can be used to illustrate flow of data in both large and
complex system based on where data comes from, where it goes and how it get
stored. Data flow diagram provides graphical representation on what the system on
how the system operates in terms of input and outputs in any level of detail. Data
flow diagram can be used to review the flow of data in the system also can be used
as initial step in creation of the system. Using investigation material provided, I’m
going to use data flow diagram to carry out structured analysis of the current
customer services at Al Rafiq.
