White collar crime
 White collar crimes are crimes that are committed by people in authority or in power.
 several types of crimes in white collar crimes for example there’s tax evasion, fraud, credit
card fraud and computer and internet fraud.
 A typical offender for this crime would be lawyers, doctors and businesses people who
commit white collar crimes are those who have a high social status
 victims are people who have the funds.
 The level of public awareness is quite low for white collar crimes as white-collar crime is not
covered on the media and due to underreporting,
 victims do not usually report the crime so therefore it goes underreported and most people
would not regard it as a real crime.
 White collar crimes are both deviant and criminal. Criminal because it involves breaking the
law,
 Deviant because they can cause great harm and they go against society norms and values

people.
