ANS-Call for emergency services and remain in the secured area. Call your Director.
Announce to the person in the lobby that emergency services is on the ir way. Do not go
out to the lobby to assist as this could be a scam to get you to leave the secured area .

immediately quickly walk to the back of the store and get out of sight. If we are not there

How do you process a refused check? - ANS-Scan the check into Vergent and select
turn down reason. Then scan the check approval form, copy of the check, and all other
documents acquired into the customer's documents, Suspected fraud - enter detailed
notes into the notes section, Confirmed fraud - enter detailed notes into the notes
section; also complete a USA form

How long is the time-delay on the safe (if applicable) - ANS-15 minutes

How many digits are in a routing number? - ANS-9 if the check is from the United States

If the Director comes to the store with someone you don't know, what is the procedure
for allowing them into the secure area? - ANS-Let the director inside the secured area
first, then the Director will let the visitor in the secured area. Then, follow the visitor's
Log procedures (if necessary)

If you are leaving the secure area when the store is open and you are coming back (to
pick up lunch,for example) where should your store keys be? Your drawer key? Your
panic button? - ANS-Store keys- locked in your cash drawer, drawer key- on you at all
time, Panic button- around your neck with the button in your hand.

If you are not going to be out of the store by that time, what must you do? - ANS-Alert
your director and call the alarm company to let them know you will be late to closing.
