P7 - outline electronic and non-electronic methods for communicating business
information, using examples for different types of audience.
Introduction
In this part of unit 4 I will be outlining electronic and non-electronic
methods in Apple’s business for communicating business
information, using examples for different types of audience.
Apple’s electronic methods of communication refer to more modern
communication, which can be performed through a variety of more
modern devices, such as computers, internet, mobile phones, digital
broadcasting and Dvd/cds. Apple’s electronic communication started
to expand since the 20th century.
Computers
Apple’s computer’s communication has become quicker and more
efficient than its predecessor. Apple’s first computer was built in the
1970’s and over the years they have improved it in terms of
processors and efficiency. It is easier to communicate with anyone
around the globe by simply typing and texting with other
individuals, suitable for people who work in finance departments or
individuals who attend business meetings. This links with the
usability of the internet where communication can be done verbally
by face to face, apps such as FaceTime has made it easier to access
the usability. The target audience for computers will be employees
and customers this can be due to staff meeting done by video
conference, or customers trying to communicate with families
abroad and it is easier to type an email and send it to them or video
call by using FaceTime.
Internet
Internet communication is essentially communicating with another
person, for example communicating with a customer. Apple’s
internet communication engages with customers or partners to be
able to keep up to date with their latest innovative product, web
pages such as Apple’s main website, Apple’s blogs, or even their
YouTube channel. Apple’s target audience for their internet
commination are mainly customers who are interested or keeping
up to date with Apple’s innovation or products. Apple has Facebook
and Twitter page to help out anyone having difficulties with their
Apple products, instead of talking face to face. Apple’s social media
websites are used for interpersonal interaction, but also to prepare
large events such as Apple’s annual press conference releasing new
products. Apple’s target audience is more suited to the more able
individuals, however the dyslexic induvial are also another target
audience as well.
