unit 2 assignment 1 P2 M2

unit 2 assignment 1 (P2 M2)

The most mature person in control will have a large number of people reporting to them as
in most workplaces there is a hierarchy. Different routines that are executed in the
workplace, how far the team is disseminate and how big the team is, are all determined by
the way the workplaces are structured. Now I will describe the various methods of
communication that are applied in the workplace and their uses.

Text messages:

Allowing employees to send and receive text messages in the workplace is a practice that is
becoming more common. Sending a Text For Business purposes is convenient and easy to
do.
Instead of having to pull up a contacts number, go to a phone, and dial the number,
employees can simply use text messaging. It also allows employees to work on the go. If an
employee has to run around the office and will be away from his desk phone and email, they
can send a text message. Text messages are also advantageous, because they can be sent
and received silently. No longer do your workers have to be distracted by another employees
voice or conversation details. Text messages can also be sent in conference form. Instead of
having to repeat yourself and having to convey other peoples responses, you can set up a
group chat which allows a number of employees to communicate at once.

Meetings:

Effective communication in the workplace improves productivity and fosters a sense of
teamwork between colleagues. A meeting about office communication is an effective way to
set expectations for employees and receive feedback on workplace communication. To
effectively use the meeting time, you need a solid agenda that addresses the communication
concerns specific to your business. Give yourself plenty of time to prepare for the meeting
through evaluations of current communication habits in the workplace, as well as your goals.

Emails:

In a work place, communication is extremely important. Employees are now luckily able to
make use of the many advantages of email. Also It is very easy to communicate effectively
with anybody within the office or anywhere in the world regardless of where they are
situated. Another advantage of having business email communication at work is that you can
respond to clients quickly and easily. This means that you no longer need to spend hours on
the phone, trying to get through and leaving messages with receptionists. The cost of
sending an email is very low, unlike postage and other methods of communication. . Email is
very efficient and is now very flexible as their are many different gadgets where your email
can be reached by you. You can copy others on correspondence. You can even blind copy
someone (BCC) if you don't want the recipient of the email to know that you are sending it to
another person. A large number of people can be copied and communicated with at once.
