Question 1 [20 marks] Critically discuss the 5 levels involved in the
process of maturity model.

Maturity models are frameworks used to assess and improve an
organization's processes, capabilities, or maturity in a particular domain.
They provide a structured approach for organizations to understand where
they currently stand and what steps they can take to progress toward
higher levels of maturity. While different maturity models may have
varying levels and characteristics, a common framework often consists of
five levels, each representing a stage of progression. Let's critically
discuss these five levels:

1. Initial Level: At the initial level, organizations typically have ad-hoc
processes with little to no formalization. There's a lack of
consistency, standardization, or documented procedures. Decisions
are often made on a case-by-case basis, and there's limited
awareness of best practices or the importance of process
improvement. Critically, while this level represents the starting
point, it's characterized by inefficiency, high variability, and a higher
likelihood of errors or failures.
2. Repeatable Level: The repeatable level signifies an improvement
from the initial stage. Organizations at this level have begun to
document some of their processes and procedures, allowing for a
degree of consistency in execution. However, there's still a reliance
on individual expertise, and processes may not be fully standardized
or integrated across the organization. While there's some ability to
reproduce successful outcomes, there's still a significant risk of
inconsistency and inefficiency.
3. Defined Level: At the defined level, organizations have established
standardized processes and procedures that are documented and
