Reezi Unit 1 D1

D1 - Evaluate the influence different stakeholders exert in one organisation.

In this task I am going to evaluate the level of influence of each stakeholders that can bring
to my chosen organisation, which is Mercedes-Benz. The stakeholders I am going to
mention are owners, employees, suppliers, customers, government and the local
community.

In my opinion I believe that the most influence stakeholder for Mercedes would be the
owner. This is because owners are the ones who invest their time and money into the
company, them knowing that investing can make the company grow and double profits.
Technically, if there were no owners then there really won’t be Mercedes as there is no
money that can be used to invest into the own business. This could link in with, that the
owners takes in all the very important decisions for Mercedes, therefore they are the most
important, the fact that there was no sort of conflict while the business making a very good
point. The owners also do have the role to make sure that the organisation is running
smoothly, especially checking on the day to day bases. For this reason the owner level of
influence is very critical towards Mercedes.

The customers are a very big stakeholder for Mercedes, so the customer would also be
placed under the critical towards the organisation, this is simply because if Mercedes had no
customers, this then means that Mercedes cannot achieve their mission statement or even
maintain of any sort of sales, this is the only way the business can survive with this the
customers. As there are many types of stakeholder, the customers are also known as being
very critical to Mercedes.

The employees yet again would be critical towards the business, as the employees has the
role of having to learn about making sure, that all different departments will be working at
their own pace. But, for Mercedes each employees would heavily rely and help out each
other, this then could show how Mercedes’s employees can be woking efficient and
effective. If the employees manage to meet the company’s purpose. So, if there was no
employees, there wouldn’t any products, to the customer would have to indicate how calm
you are. The employees is known as the backbone to Mercedes as they are the ones who
communicate to the customers about selling the product or providing the service. For this
reason the employees are very critical.

The suppliers are again also critical because they are the ones who has to provide
Mercedes all the raw materials for their car, these can also be materials such as steel, metal,
iron, aluminium and other car parts. The suppliers can also impact the business as well, this
is when if the quality of the raw materials are not at the high standards that Mercedes
expect, then this can be a problem for them. This is because if the raw materials that is used
to assemble the car that is at poor quality, this then would be sold to the customer, in the
long term if customers find out that the quality is not good, they will stop buying products
from Mercedes, which could mean a loss of profit for Mercedes. If there were no suppliers
then it will be very difficult for Mercedes to operate, because they wont have raw materials
like machinery for the product, or even an IT equipment, that is very important to record the
customers details and to make sure there order is set and ready. So suppliers are extremely
critical.
The local community has a very little influence to Mercedes as, they are the ones who have
