EPQ A* CONTAINING ALL PLANING AND WORKING EVIDENCE ON PROJECT Q BEST GUIDE TO HELP YOU PASS 2024 GRADED A+. lOMoAR cPSD| Evaluation Through completing the Extended Project, there have been many skills I have learned, challenges I have faced, problems I have overcome, subject area knowledge I have added depth to and higher-level academic conventions I have been introduced to. Theaim of this evaluation is to highlight whether I achieved my project aims, what I learned from this qualification including any skills that may be relevant in the future, what advice I would give myself if I were to start the project again, limitations in the project’s methodology and interpretations and suggestions for any further work that could be done relating to the topic. o Did I achieve my project aims? My project objectives changed as my knowledge of the topic area developed, so it is difficult to judge whether I reached my initial aims. Originally, I had wants to look intomany different contributing factors to childhood obesity including genetics, lifestyle factors, environmental factors such as socioeconomic status, prescription drugs and metabolic disorders. Furthermore, I also wanted to do some statistically analysis, in the hope of having a quantitative measure to judge the influence of each factor. However, while I was completing my research I realized it would be too broad to look into many factors meaning my project would not be very specific. Furthermore, the limitations of the project timescale would also mean I could not discuss each factor in the depth I wanted to. In addition, the statistical data supporting each argument was often misleading and contradictory, even with thorough cross-referencing. Due to these two challenges, I shifted my project focus to comparing and contrasting just twofactors to allow for the detail required of an academic style essay and although I used statistics throughout where appropriate, they were not used as a means to directly compare the two factors. After beginning my research, I started to understand the scale of the obesity epidemic and the devastating health problems it can potentially give rise to. This meant I started to feel strongly that there was more that needed to be done about it, before the rates spiral to pandemic levels. Because of this, I added afurther aim that was to use my lOMoAR cPSD| findings to suggest possible strategies that could be implemented to reduce the epidemic. This also gave me a greater awareness of how my research fitted into the wider context and its practical applications in society. In conclusion, if I am judging my project on the first set of aims, I would say that I did notdirectly achieve them. However, if I am looking at the final aims that became refined as the project progressed, I would say I did achieve them. This is because I feel that I have effectively answered my title question. This was achieved because I researched and considered both factors independently, resulting in a balanced argument. In addition, I was able to reduce any possible bias within my project, by not considering my personal views and opinions, apart from in the conclusion where I formed my own viewpoint based on the evidence I had collected from my research. o What did I learn? Firstly, I have been introduced to a number of different con
