U.S. History Class Notes - Reconstruction
These class notes cover the Reconstruction that occurred from 1865 to 1877. The U.S. had several problems with the Southern economy, the hatred between North and South, and the six million freedmen. Lincoln's Plan (10 percent plan), Johnston's Plan (Pardoned Plan), and the Radical Republic plan tried to fix these problems. The end of reconstruction is also reviewed with information covering the Hayes-Tilden Compromise of 1877.
