Same time naval arms race with Germany, dreadnoughts building expensive. Peoples budget of 1909, tax the rich especially wealthy landowners to pay for the reforms. Take issue to people which leads to the Libs overcoming this and changing constitution and the role of HoL. Due to the Irish Nationalists support Home Rule resurfaces. Home Rule Bill of 1912 - CORRECT ANSWERS-The government agreed that a home rule bill would be passed in return for the support of the Irish nationalists. Libs reluctant to pass bill, Lords normally block but can't now. Govt turn to military resistance in Ireland.
