Summary
Throughout P5, I shall be explaining the main pestle factors of which can impact my selected
business in a positive and in a negative manner in detail and depth by the use of different examples.
I have chosen my selected business of Nando’s for my journal article as, I will explain the brief
background for Nando’s too. I shall also explain my swot analysis if Nando’s was to operate within
my two selected countries of South Korea and Mexico. I will also explain the 5C’s in relation to
Nando’s if Nando’s chose to operate within these two, contrasting countries. I shall also explain
which country out of the two would be best suited, appropriate and better for Nando’s as shown
through my own justification.
Introduction-
The brief background for my selected business is that Nando’s operates in most countries across the
world on an international scale but, not in all countries such as South Korea and Mexico. Nando’s
was “founded in South Africa in 1987 because, this selected business was associated with
determination and freedom as shown by South Africa” (Nando’s,2023). Nando’s” would create
inspiration amongst many different countries since, they can be found in more than 20 countries
across the world internationally” (Nando’s,2023). Therefore, Nando’s wishes to expand their growth
and development across on an international scale as, an attempt to increase their success in order to
achieve all of their smart objectives. An example of Nando’s smart objective is to increase their
social awareness by 2% in the next 2 years and to increase their net profit margin by 5% in the next
following years. Also, the figure 1 and 2 represent the areas in which Nando’s currently operates and
the regions of the world where Nando’s doesn’t operate at all. Examples of where Nando’s currently
operates in the Uk and Canada because these countries are advanced or highly developed. Areas in
which Nando’s doesn’t operate is in low or advanced developing countries like Mexico and South
Korea (SK).
