,Essay 1: Montessori describe development as the
“Constructive Rhythm of Life”. Consider how the
human tendencies manifest differently throughout
the four planes of development
1
, Today´s education must be adapted to the child´s true nature. Maria Montessori
pedagogy, helps the child develop and adapt himself to their environment and the
conditions of his present. Montessori wanted to give the child the keys to the world to
explore by himself and learn to appreciate people living in it (M. Montessori, M., 1956).
Through this essay, based on different authors like Camillo Grazzini, Maria
Montessori, and Mario Montessori, we will find out the explanation of the four planes of
development that the child goes through during the first twenty- four first years of his life.
Also, we will learn about human tendencies and some examples of how they manifest

Camillo Grazzini (Grazzini, C., 2004) describes this whole development from birth
to adulthood providing some ideas of the development of the human being.
As we can see in the image of “The Constructive Rhythm of life”, the periods of
development have a rhythm of six years each. Each plane of development is represented
