Introduction:
In this task I shall be demonstrating how to solve problems in the Internet use for four
different types of business activates.

Promotion:
Promotion is advertising the business and getting customers to be aware of the business
which leads to them purchasing the products or services.
This is online advertising, so a person/people on the internet knows that a company
exists. Businesses have increased spending more on online advertising like banner ads and
pop ups. Even now on websites like YouTube which a video streaming website you would
find advertisements just before the video, or in social networking sites like Facebook or
Twitter you would find banners of adverts, so people know the company exists and
sometimes this even persuades them.
Problem:
The Problem with promotion on the internet is that a business may choose a wrong
website for their business to be promoted on. If not that then some websites may put the
banner ad in a place where people won’t see and won’t know their presence.
Solution:
The Solution for this can be that websites can force customers to view an ad like a pop up
that you will have to watch before using the site, this site can be Facebook for example.
This is similar to the ads YouTube offer they make people watch at least approximately 8
seconds of the ad then the person can choose to skip it or to watch the rest of the ad. This
may cost more but it is worth it and people will know your presence.




Business communication:
Businesses can profit from the increased speed and efficiency of internet communications.
However, they have to be careful about how they use the technology.
This is communication that can be done internally which is between the colleagues or
externally which is with people outside the business who can be the customers, banks or
just general people. There are many different ways to communicate as well like telephone
but if it is through the internet then it would be email or VoIP (Voice over Internet
Protocol) which is Skype, MSN messenger and such, also most communications over the
internet is free to use unless there are add-on features like for example Skype, you can
call landlines but there is cost to it.
