business generally. Followed by a personal development plan to help an individual prepare
for increased use of e business.
The government supports E-business in many different ways, they help the business to
develop and run smoothly and efficiently, which in return helps the government to attain
taxes from the businesses and it also helps government as it provides jobs for many
different people. Government has a team of people that are based on helping businesses to
become more profitable and the way they do this is by promoting better use of ICT. There is
an e-business team created by the government who wants to help businesses to lower
business costs, become more advanced and trade a lot more successfully.
They also want to support the businesses in improving their performance by combining ICT
into their core business procedures. Government has helped the businesses to:
Manage systems that helps with customer relationship
Financial Management packages
Stock Control systems
Information management tools
The government also helps businesses by providing them high speed broadband that helps
them to access the world from their website. The government also invests on looking for
other resources that can help to boost the internet speed, for example the optical fibre
cable that can transmit data very quickly. This increases the performance of the internet
that assures businesses high speed internet and does hardly require any maintenance,
which does not cause any delays on the activities of the businesses. Broadband hence helps
the organizations to do their everyday work without any hard, in fact it increases the
productivity, and for example the internet helps to book hotels in other countries as
otherwise it would’ve been very difficult.
As the demand for British goods from online consumers around world is growing rapidly.
The government have negotiated discounted rates for UK retailers and brands to list their
goods on some of the world’s most visited platforms and marketplaces such as Amazon in
UK. The government is urging business men to meet with several trade advisors so that they
can discuss about export plans and if someone is confused or don’t know what to do then
