Anatomy
-Cylindrical aspect – L: 7-12 cm, D: 4-8 mm
-Position (taenia intersection) - (inside – Gerlach valve)
-Vasc: appendicular a. (rr SMA); duble artery (50%)
-Veins! ileocolice veins! MSV! portal vein
Lymphatic: ileocecal, pericecal, sup., duodeno-pancreatic nodes
Inervation: vegetative (simpatics si parasimpatică)

immunoglobulins producing process
On average 200 pholicles in teens and young adults(fall over time)
Fibrous tissue is replacing it.
