1. Identify, evaluate and explain the critical steps that need to be taken in the
acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold land.
2. Interview a real estate client to determine their objectives and apply detailed
and comprehensive knowledge of the relevant law and legal practice to
progress a property transaction in accordance with the client’s commercial
objectives and the rules of professional conduct.
3. Critically evaluate and advise on the main risks facing a purchaser of property
and apply due diligence procedures in order to reduce those risks.
