Unit 9: IT Project Management Assignment 3
After the competition and documentation of the game project I have been
asked by the same company that hired me to create a report showcasing and
discussing all of the skills that I have gained through the timeline of the project.
I also need to write any improvements that I could have done to the project and
how well I managed it. I figured out that the best way to showcase the skills
earned would be by using a table whilst giving myself a rating by how well that
skill was.

There is a lot of skills that I have used in this project to ensure that everything
will go according to the plan and the release phases was successful. Those skills
can range between:
• Problem Solving
• Creative Thinking
• Time Management
• Team Collaboration
• Project Management
• Communication
• Technical
There is other skills that I could have possibly used on the project but the ones
above are the main category used, each of these categories of skills include
other skills inside of them which are minor but worth mentioning. I will use a
rating from 1 to 5. 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest.

All of these set of skills that I have been mentioning above have been used in
one way or the other, as mentioned before I haven’t included all of the skills but
the most important ones that have made an impact have been included whilst
also giving a rating at how good I was at that skill. For example I think I have
done really well I the problem solving skills for the project when I was able to
find different problems occurring on my game either myself or scouting for
them in the internet but also providing proper documentation and explanation
of the errors. I believe that those skills that I just used have helped ma lot on
getting rid of errors from my game but also gave me a better experience and
knowledge on how to handle problems in future projects. Something that I
haven’t really been great about was the time management between activities
and tasks as well as providing documentation for them, in most cases I missed
the deadline for some tasks which had a huge toll on the project since that
meant I needed to spend more time on those tasks which delayed me on
progressing on other tasks. Luckily I was able to submit the whole project 1 day
before the set deadline which was pretty useful and give me an extra day to
publish the game on external sites like steam.
