Czechoslovakia- came into existence in the aftermath of the war.
Poland- West Prussia and Posen to give them access to the sea.
Italy- Italy thought they should get a lot more because they got an offer from Britain in
particular to switch sides. They did get South Tyrol and Trentino. Wilson repudiated the
agreements made between Britain and Italy because he did not believe in secret treaties.
Austria- It was reduced to a small inland Germanic republic of 6 million, its army limited to
30,000 men. It did not pay the reperassions.

empire. When Canada said no to England’s call for arms it ruined their power. Russia
