Introduction
In this assignment I will be writing the limitations of the marketing research used
by coca cola
Primary research is when is carried out marketing team of the businesses go 'into
the field' (e.g. house-to-house or street surveys) to find out new/updates
information effecting the business. The advantages primary research is that coca
cola would be able to ask product related questions, the data collected will be up
to date, the data can be trust worthy as coca cola know that the information the
information collected it correct. The disadvantage of primary research is that it
can cost a lot of money as coca cola would have to print or buy equipment to do
the research.
Secondary research is using information that’s been collected which is review
other searches found out that already exists information method. For example
this maybe from the bank report or even benchmark. The advantage is that Coca
cola do not have to do the research for themselves, it will have a wide range of
information of people. The disadvantage is that it could cost lot of money, data
will not be on specific products, could be inaccurate and may not be up to date.
