1. Introduction

It has been determined that the outbreak of Covid-19 has had a detrimental influence

on the tourist industry. Individuals are apprehensive about leaving their homes and travelling

to new places, and as a result, they are unlikely to travel to a foreign country. Additionally, it

has an influence on the operations of firms that are involved with the tourism industry, as

previously stated (Riadil 2020). This research will go into further depth on studying the case

of Deal, a seaside town in Kent with a number of popular tourist attractions, as an example.

An emergency strategy plan to aid Deal in recovering from its current status as a tourist

destination is necessary as a result of the aftermath of Covid-19 (Foo et al. 2020). The

following report will be divided into two pieces in order to reflect these changes. We'll start

with a look at some of the most significant benefits of strategic planning for tourism in

coastal regions, followed by a discussion of the value of collaborative planning in this

subject. a succinct tourist plan, as well as information on how the vision and objectives can

be achieved, as well as information on how the recommended approach may benefit both the

people who live in the region and those who visit them, both socially and economically, in

the second section.
