LOS MEDIOS Y EL COMPORTAMIENTO DE LOS VOTANTES

• En 1940 lazarsfeld, Berelson y Gaudet condujeron la primera gran investigación a escala sobre los
efectos políticos de los medios masivos
• La investigación: se centró en la elección presidencial de 1940 y los resultados fueron publicados
en 1944 en The People´s Choice. Se basí en el modelo teórico de la aguja hipodérmica en Eire
County, Ohio.
• Los votantes fueron entrevistados para determinar qué factores tenían la mayor influencia al
momento de decidir sobre su candidato presidencial.
