Writing to Persuade or Argue:
When writing creative non-fiction, you will need to present your opinion on a
topic; your goal is to get the reader to agree with your opinion, and see that it is
correct and valid. When the question asks you to write persuasively, you should
focus on developing an emotionally compelling argument; develop tone and use
bias to make the reader feel as you do. When the question asks you to write an
argument, you should focus on developing a convincing and rational argument;
