Mental Health Case: Li Na Chen, Part 2 Guided Reflection Questions Opening Questions How did the simulated experience of Li Na Chen’s case make you feel? I felt more comfortable working with Li Na Chen the second time. I was more mindful of her situation. I was also happy to see that she had drastically improved during her hospitalization stay. Talk about what went well in the scenario. What went well in the scenario was that she was able to state that she no longer has suicidal ideations or thoughts of self-harm. The patient was also more cooperative during her interview process, than the last interview. Mrs. Chen did not state that she was feeling tired to talk. The patient was also more engaged in the treatment process and asked more questions. Reflecting on Li Na Chen’s case, were there any actions you would do differently? If so, what were these actions and why? Li Na Chen’s case went very well. She appeared to have more confidence and willingness to get better for herself as well as her family. Once discharged Mrs. Chen may become fearful or anxious that she may regress back into a depressive state.
