First Portfolio Activity:
Task 1
, Since I began doing this module my comprehension and encounters have brought
me information. I'm presently more prepared to appreciate and collaborate with
individuals from varying backgrounds independent of social foundation in a more
aware way. The module has trained me to show consciousness of social and
phonetic variety in my communication with individuals every day in light of the fact
that semantic character incorporates the manner in which individuals from various
gatherings dress and the food they eat. I currently have an appreciation and regard
for this angle since they mirror an individual's legacy and for me to regard an
individual I should regard where they come from
Having looked at the blogs and reflected on myself I have learnt that I am a resilient
person, committed and diligent when it comes to my academics. I learnt that my
knowledge has helped other students in terms of the cultural backgrounds that I
shared and from the information I acquired from the research.
After through the units I realised that there were many things I did not know,
including that of other students. I have been able to learn not only from the academic
curriculum, but also from my other fellow students, and integrating with them has
been mind opening and enlightening.
