Good afternoon everyone. My name is Yashvant and our driver is Monish. On
behalf of Thomas cook I’d like to welcome you all to Los Cabos. The coach will
roughly take 30 minutes to drop all of you at your accommodation. I would like to
discuss some of the safety precautions. Firstly, I ask that you all remain seated
until we reach our destination and that you do not consume food or drinks while
on this coach. Secondly, it is against the law to get drunk in public so just take
care of your self’s okay. Please enjoy your vacation but do no drink and drive and
just drink responsibly as you do not want to ruin your vacation. The local time
here is 4pm and the weather Is at 28’c, you can turn on your air conditioner
above you by turning It towards your right.
Now, I promise you that all of you will enjoy your holiday here in San Jose; the
city is beautiful itself, it is quite a relaxing city, the beach should be attracting to
all of you. You can easily walk into the town and enjoy the water fountains but
please do not swim there. If anyone here would like to swim or fancy swimming
then you can take a bus from our hotel which will directly take you to the beach.
At the beach you will be able to enjoy much entertainment for example; beach
party, surfing and many fun beach activities.
On behalf of Thomas Cook I have been advised to offer special discounts during
this holiday. We have golf packages, boat tours, bus tours, city tours and many
other special discounts. If you would like more information about that please
arrive at the welcome meeting tomorrow where everything about your holiday
will be informed. I would like to give an advice to you all, please do not purchase
any packages or offers from street vendors because they could scam you or
charge you extra certain amount of money. Please take my advice and allow
myself or my colleagues to book all of your day trips or any other activities while
you are here. During the welcome meeting my colleague will explain this in more
detail about discounts and etc.
If you would like to exchange your money please use the bank or official money
exchange shops, they are located just 5 minutes away from our hotel this is
because at the hotel you will not get a fair rate. My colleague will also go in more
detail at the welcome meeting. We also recommend that you take the local bus
instead of the taxi this is because the taxi drivers will charge you double the
price of your journey, so please be caution about this. If some on you would like
to take the taxi then I suggest that you negotiate a fair price before travelling.
