1.1.1) Scientific method- A method of discovering knowledge about the natural world based on
making predictions. Collecting measurable, empirical evidence in an experiment related to the
hypothesis, the result aiming to support a theory.
1.1.2) Hypothesis- A hypothesis is an assumption, an idea that is proposed for the sake of argument so
that it can be tested to see if it might be true.
1.1.3) Theory- An explanation which is supported by a large amount of evidence.
1.1.4) Independent variable- The independent variable is the variable that you have control over,
what you can choose and manipulate. It is usually what you think will affect the dependent
variable.
1.1.5) Dependent variable- The dependent variable is the variable that is affected by another variable.

1.2) Making an observation or observations, before scientists can form or do any scientific investigation,
they must be stimulated by something they observed. Which include asking questions and gather
information.

Creating a hypothesis, that is, a tentative description of what is being observed, predictions also take
place based on the hypothesis. The questions are being asked in a form that suggests a possible
explanation for the observations.

Testing the hypothesis and predictions in an experiment that can be reproduced. An investigation will
be done where you test the hypothesis experimentally. A

Analysing the data and draw conclusions, you can either accept or reject the hypothesis or modify the
hypothesis if needed, which is a very important point that proves the results matched up to your
hypothesis.
