During the perimenopause and menopause, it can lead to mood changes, depression and anxiety. Many women are
disproportionately sad that they can no longer have kids, and this can impact their self-image of becoming a 'desirable'
During this transitional period of the life cycle, self-esteem and self-image can become poor, which can affect self-confid
the quality of life.
Often in ageing process adults put on weight. Middle age spread may occur because, while they have become much le
adults still eat the same amount of food as they did when they were younger. In addition to a shift in body shape, increas
and waistline, loss of skin elasticity and loss of muscle tone and strength, people are now starting to show other symptoms
such as greying and thinning hair and hair loss.
