Method of acquiring the evidence: Asking what Baljinder recalls
Evidence detail: States what Baljinder remembers about the time the items went
missing
Evidence reliability: I think the reliability of this evidence is good because Baljinder
represents BCTAA and, I imagine, wouldn’t steal some of the company equipment as
this would damage the organisations reputation.
Conclusions: In conclusion, I think Baljinder’s account of the event is a credible piece
of evidence because he is a reputable man that gives a detailed account on what
actions they took before and after they realised items were missing.

Method of acquiring the evidence: Notes from Baljinder
Evidence detail: Includes information and other events that happened around the time
the items went missing
Evidence reliability: I think the reliability of this evidence is good because they are
from Baljinder, who is a representative of BCTAA. He is a reliable source because he
has a reputation to keep and must look as reputable as possible.
Conclusions: In conclusion, I think this evidence is credible because they’re real notes
that Baljinder took during his meeting. Also, they contain details about events that
happened around that time such as pickpocketing thefts happening, which are very
specific.

Method of acquiring the evidence: Looked at the log from the door access control
system
Evidence detail: Shows when peoples cards were used to open a door
Evidence reliability: I think the reliability of this evidence is good as they are logs
created by a program. This makes it reliable because if it was a person creating the
logs, they could let people passed a door without logging it. Whenever someone uses
a door in BCTAA, it is logged onto the system where it is kept for future reference.
Conclusions: In conclusion, I think this evidence is credible because it shows the exact
date and time staff accessed the doors. This gives officers a clearer idea to what
exactly happened.

Method of acquiring the evidence: Managers diagram of the network
Evidence detail: Shows how the network is arranged
Evidence reliability: I think this evidence is credible because it shows how the network
is arranged but it doesn’t give any details of items being stolen.
Conclusions: In conclusion, I think this evidence is credible as it shows a clear picture
to how BCTAA’s network operates. I can’t see it being that helpful towards the
investigation though because it doesn’t give any insight to new information that the
authorities can use.
