Job description
A job description is a formal account of an employee’s responsibilities. The job
description is an account of all the different roles the employee will be doing
during the customer service role. When the employee reads the job description,
they will be able to see whether they are capable of the job and therefore then
will continue to apply. Some roles of the job will include responding properly to
customer’s enquiries and being able to resolve customer’s complaints.
Application form
The application form is a form that is filled out by the applicant to get a job. The
application form gives information to the person who is recruiting the staff and
specific details about the applicant. In this scenario Midland Hotel will look at the
application form and the person’s specification to see whether they are capable
of the job or not. By doing this it makes it easier for the person who is recruiting
as they will only interview the applicants that are considered capable to take up
this job role.
