Internet A worldwide collection of computer networks that can be connected for the
purposes of sharing resources or communicating - A global network

2. IP Addresses
IP Addresses For computers to communicate with each other, protocols are required:
● TCP - Transmission Control Protocol. Responsible for making sure
that the transmission gets from sender to host.
● IP - Internet Protocol. Identifies the different computers connected to
the internet.
● Allows direct access to the internet and enables communication
between different computers
● DNS - Domain Name System. An addressing system that assigns a
unique address (IP address) and a hostname to identify each user
connected to the Internet.
