, P6 - Produce an outline for a digital marketing campaign that will create
brand loyalty for a new or existing product or brand.
Trapstar is now a global fashion brand that offers customers streetwear that provides
customers streetwear clothing and accessories at a premium price. They base their clothing
on the London’s urban dressing scene and the name trapstar is based around the south side
of Americas sub-genre of rap called trap music. One of trapster London’s main ways of
marketing is through social media advertisement to show new products that are coming but
also is their main way of keeping a connection between potential customers and consumers.
One of trapstar London’s most recent campaigns on social media was their
#enoughisenough in support of the Black Lives Matter movement that emerged from the
tragic and horrific murder of George Floyd by the hands of the police. Because of this tragic
event this compelled trapstar to release a statement on their social media platforms
expressing their distress and frustration towards the situation and the lack of support. On
June 6th, 2020 trapstar had announced that they would release a special edition
#enoughisenough t shirt to so show solidarity. The t shirt was inspired by Huey p newton. All
proceeds of this release went towards the black lives’ organisation, the Stephen Lawrence
trust and the belly mumjinga gofund me. And also donated an extra £5000 to BLM global
network
Trapstar London is becoming one of the most popular clothing brands in the world and is
gaining a bigger piece in the London fashion market share. This is because when they
started out, they were very tuned in to the London music scene as it was growing Jay z
signed and endorsed trapstar so other rappers and celebrities like Rhianna and young thug
started to wear their products which made them more famous in America. Trapstar have
started to do a thing where they allow potential customers to direct message them
something funny and creative and they might get gifted a gift card or an unreleased product
this encourages customer interactions on social media
