Aims and objectives
- What is the overall aim of your campaign, eg to raise public awareness
- Objectives must be smart
- Specific – what is the objective
- Measurable – how will you know you have done it, eg where you put posters.
- Achievable – what will you need to complete it, eg permission from council or
schools
- Relevant – how will this help to achieve the aim , eg reach the target audience
- Time bound – timeline of when you will complete the objective.
- Need a short term objective and a long term objective ( 1 year)
- Justification of objectives, why and how will they help you achieve the aim.
Justify choice of campaign
- Why is this type of crime a problem or have low public awareness?
- Why is it important for more people to be aware of this crime?
Target audience
- Who is the campaign aimed at, or what group of people?
- What makes this group of people more representative of the campaign aim?
- What methods/branding have you used to make your campaign more appealing to
that certain group?
- Why will these methods be more successful than other methods?
Methods
- Which campaign methods are you using (tv, social networking, films, leaflets,
posters) ?
- Why did you choose these methods instead of others?
- What materials will you require to use these methods? (time, printers)
- How will these materials help you achieve your goals
Finances
- Detail how you will spend your money, how much materials or events will cost
- Explain how you will raise the money to pay for the expenses
- Explain why spending the money on these materials or events is worth it eg events
will make a lot of people aware of the campaign
