Question: 1.

1.1. Explain the relations and differences between natural objects and
cultural objects. Provide at least one example of a natural object and
one example of a cultural object in order to elucidate your answer.

Natural objects are differentiated from cultural object
because, cultural objects are the product of human
actions/creations like sculptures, poems, paintings, cars and
household items, which are created while having the need to
express feelings and to make our daily lives easier. Natural
objects are like stones, plants water and animals. Cultural
objects are created from natural objects by human beings
having the need to express their inner emotion. These
emotions might look different to some in the ways they have
been created in poems, sculptures; like with car’s everyone
has different taste not everyone likes the same car or the
same poem

As we have seen in the study guide there are three
consequences of ‘Cultural objects’.
One -They can’t be created by isolated individuals therefore
they are created within communities and societies or
workplaces by individuals or groups of people and they are
very closely connected with human societies.
Two - Cultural objects are the products/creations of human
actions, needs and behavior. Therefore the features and
properties are related directly to the purposes and needs of
human beings. For example, books are created to conduct
studies, use for drawings, writing poems and coloring.
