Explaining what is respiration and its importance in human and plants –
It Is a universal processes that take place in every organism, uses oxygen and glucose
to make energy (ATP). And also explain the two types of respiration aerobic and
anaerobic.
Aerobic – with oxygen anaerobic – without oxygen
Stages of respiration - glycolysis – explain the stages involved in glycolysis and its
importance in other stages. Link reaction – again explaining what is it? Importance?
And linking the importance to other stages involved. Similarly also explain Kerb cycle,
electron transport chain. For this you need to add diagrams to show your
understanding.
Include a picture of mitochondria and label the parts and there importance
Make a table showing the difference between the aerobic and anaerobic respiration
and the ATP produced.
