and with the fingers extended.
Release pressure
Observe pt. to see if releasing the pressure caused any pain.
⩥ Assess for kidney tenderness by. Answer: fist percussion over the
costovertebral angles a the scapular lines on the back.
⩥ If appendicitis is suspected. Answer: DO NOT press RLQ - it could
rupture appendix. Do a catskan instead
⩥ kyphosis. Answer: Increased curvature of thoracic spine
