Document description This document is a comprehensive grammatical summary for the Language Study 1 course and provides a systematic overview of English verb tenses and verb structures. It is intended as a study and reference document for pupils or students who want to acquire, deepen or repeat their knowledge of English grammar. The text covers chronologically and thematically: • all main and side times (present, past, perfect and future), • the difference in usage and meaning between simple, continuous and perfect shapes, • the correct form, including spelling and pronunciation rules, • and typical use cases with clear examples. In addition, the document pays extensive attention to: • auxiliary verbs (primary and modal auxiliaries) and their functions, • modality (duty, opportunity, probability, advice, consent, ability), • the distinction between copular/linking verbs and full/lexical verbs, • and formal versus informal language use cases. Thanks to the combination of rules, explanations, examples and terminology, this document functions both as a learning aid during the lessons and as an exam-oriented summary for English grammar.
