Thales of Miletus:

●​ Most pre-Socratic thinkers followed his lead

●​ Created a series of 'paradoxes'- some unsolved
●​ Paradox- goes against popular believe (translation)
●​ Questions possibilities of time and space- not founded on logic

●​ Reducing argument- removing things he thought were false/wrong
