3. Links that have system parameters


SmartLinks with no parameters - Answer-Links with no parameters are
designed by Epic to display set information and there are no options for
changing the information they pull in.


SmartLinks with user-level parameters - Answer-Links with user‐level
parameters require more information from users or analysts to pull in
targeted information. If a user inserts one of these links into a note,
they'll see an Edit SmartLink Parameters window asking for additional
information. This information could be a span of time, lab component

SmartLinks with system parameters - Answer-Links with system
parameters have options that are set by analysts in the actual SmartLink
record. Those options, called parameters, establish how individual Links
