Bit Error Rate, It is the number of bit errors per stream of bits. This is found
by dividing the number of errors by the number of bits sent. This is also
known as the quality of signal being transmitted. In the bow and arrow
analogy, BER is represented by the arrow.
Forward Error Correction, this is an additional chunk of bits sent with a
packet that will replace any missing or wrong bits.
