Part A: Context
Mission Statement
To provide a clean and sustainable water supply to local communities within our scope of operation
Goals
- Provide piped water to at least 80% of the village by end of 2023
- Have clear regulation on water usage for local factories by December 2021
- Have a sustainable water storage facility to act as a water reservoir for when the rains fail
Strategies
- Introduce and sustain a control program for domestic water collection and storage in order to
replenish ground water reservoirs
- Work with local governments to attain required land and regulatory framework to build water
supply systems
- Work together with local stakeholders to get everyone on board with project
Objectives
- Identify all ground water reservoirs by March 2021
- Identify all stakeholders; both positive and negative stakeholders
- Build a water reservoir by December 2021
- Publish a water usage framework by July 2021
- Map out piping routes and negotiate with land owners by August 2021
- Complete construction of water supply system by March 2022
Problem/Opportunity Statement
Sections of the local community are hostile towards the project and this might delay the project progress
and completion.
