Plusieurs diverticules non enflammés.

Physiopathologie

Pression intracavitaire causée par un déficit en fibre qui ralenti le transit intestinal qui
accroît l’absorption d’eau dans les selles qui se durcissent et se déplacent donc plus
difficilement dans l’intestin. La lumière de l’intestin diminue et augmente la pression
intracavitaire et favorise la formation de diverticules.
