, Introduction
Some important points to remember:
You will perform all questions using the two virtual machines you created in labs 1 and 2
and have been using throughout the semester for the lab work.
It is assumed that you have DNS, Web, Mail and Database services already installed and
working correctly on your systems. If you do not, you can download pre-configured VMs
from the following locations and edit the VM names to include your initials and student
number:
o From the network share if you are working on the college computer remotely: \\
icet1vm\1vm\fshafiqu\LabTestVMs
o Login information for pre-configured VMs:
Ubuntu - username: student, password: Pa$$w0rd
Windows - username: administrator, password: Pa$$w0rd123
For each question you will take screen shots, as specified, showing the required information
and write, in your own words, a brief paragraph how you performed the tasks specified in
the questions. Make sure the VM name containing the last four digits of your student
number is visible in each screen shot.
Your write-up will be graded on the following aspects:
o Correctness: Were you able to accomplish the task? Are the screen shots correct
and showing all required information? Is the write-up correct for the specified task?
o Organization/Formatting: Is the submission well-organized, clear and in order? Are
images and text all visible and flowing well? Do all screen shots show the VM name?
