To rename the lab worksheet:
– For each lab worksheet, keep the ORIGINAL LAB NAME & NUMBER. Then, next to the lab name, just add your following
info:
Your First & Last Name, Last Four digits ID#, Sec#.
DO THAT FOR EACH LAB EXERCISE SHEET.
Your lab worksheet file name will look like as in below example:

Before You Begin
1. Download VMware Workstation Pro from http://elms.centennialcollege.ca/down.html You
may need to register for a new account if you never registered for an account at this site. In
the new account registration request, make sure you used your “college email address” for
the username. In the registration process, you will get an email in the college email address,
and you have to confirm the email to finish the registration process.
Login to the above site, select VMware Download and select VMware Workstation 15.x
Pro-> add it to the cart ->select View Cart -> Check out. You will get a download link.
When you download VMware Workstation Pro, you will get a license key that you can use to
register the product.
2. Install VMware Workstation 15.x Pro with default settings in the installation wizard.
3. Create following folders Structure in your hard drive. Make sure you use the last 4 digits of
your student ID instead of XXX. (For example, if your student ID is 300902283, then instead
of ‘LON-DC1-XXXX’ you should create ‘LON-DC1-2283 and instead of ‘LON-CL1-
XXXX’ you should create ‘LON-CL1-2283)
Download Windows Server 2016 (Data Center) iso image and save it in your Download folder.
You can download from any available link. The instructor will also provide a download link.
You will be asked to take screenshots in different labs. You can take screenshots by using
snipping tools software that is already available in Windows 10 (or PrtScr Key of your HOST
computer).
Screenshot Requirements: All screenshots must show the whole HOST computer screen,
the HOST system clock, the left side pane of VMware Workstation, the title bar of VMware
Workstation and the Guest OS windows on the main pane of VMware Workstation and any
specific information asked in the instruction.
