Work expectations ✔Correct Answer-Hard work, professionalism, integrity

Do you have government work experience ✔Correct Answer-No I do not have any past
government work experience

My favorite hobby for many years has been volunteering. I was a volunteer EMT with my local
first aid back in New Jersey. I've loved helping people from a young age. I helped take care of my
elderly neighbor growing up. That experience helped me discover my passion for helping
people. It's rewarding to be part of the team that helps those having a bad day.

A newer hobby I have picked up is hiking. I grew up in a small beach town so Utah is very
different for me. Hiking has been a great way for me to spend time with my family and make
memories with my daughter. It has also given me a greater appreciation for keeping the
environment clean. My family and I volunteer our time a couple days a week collecting trash
long along route 18 to help with the clean up effort in Utah.

How did you hear about this position ✔Correct Answer-I came across the TSO opening while
actively looking through postings on Indeed. The posting stood out to me because of its job
growth potential. I took time to further my research of TSA and the job description of a TSO. I
feel my customer service background makes me a great potential fit for the position.

Why are you interested in working for TSA? Why did you apply for this job? Join the team?
✔Correct Answer-I would like the opportunity to work for TSA because I would like to be part of
the team that helps keep the public safe. I enjoy serving the public and have spent the last 4
years doing so in different roles. Though I don't have security experience I am motivated by
being challenged. I thrive in a fast-paced team environment. In looking over the mission of the
company I feel being detail oriented is a high priority and I feel I would excel in that
environment given the skills I have learned from my pervious jobs and experiences.

How does this position align with your long term career goals ✔Correct Answer-Coming from

Merchandising was my favorite thing about my most recent position. It requires a lot of

to buy a TV or pool float. Those are usually in the moment impulse buys. In order to get sales to
have to pay attention to your customer base, product placement on the floor. You have to find
hot spots that get a lot of foot traffic. You have to display things in a visually appealing way that
grabs the customers attention.
