Answer: Sole proprietorship, Partnership, Corporation, Limited
Liability Company (LLC), Limited Liability Partnership, or any other
form of organization permitted by law.
◉ Credit hour
Answer: A combination of the number of hours in each class each
week & the number of hours per week in a lab. 1 hour of class + 2 lab
hours + 3 internship hours x number of weeks.
◉ Direct supervision
Answer: Licensed instructor or esthetician must be present during
services.
◉ Endorsement
, Answer: Licensure granted by another state with equal
requirements.
◉ Licensee
Answer: Any person or entity with a valid license.
◉ Post-secondary education level
Answer: Institution accredited by the U.S. Department of Education.
◉ Reinstatement
Answer: Reactivating an expired license. Retest required. After 2
years of not reinstating you forfeit your license and have to go back
to school.
◉ Renewal
Answer: Extending a current license for a new period.
◉ Responsible Management
Answer: Legal fiduciary (holding a position of trust where you're
legally obligated to act in the best interests of another person or
entity, prioritizing their needs above your own) or designated
business operator.
