In this scenario, there is only a valid contract between Murray and the store that he had to pay $5.00 in
exchange of the Celtic stein. As the store failed to correctly measure the worth or quality of the stein,
the Murray still did not have the responsibility to disclose the value of Celtic stein and it was still based
on Murray’s experience without confidence. In the case where there was already a price on the item
which was higher, but Murray ignored and purposely paid lower price as what the clerk said, the store
might be able to. However, in this scenario, there was such no price tag on the stein; the store owner
would not be able to claim to the part of Murray’s new fortune. As he already fulfilled the contract with
the store (paying $5.00 for the Celtic stein) he would be able to keep the stein himself.
