AZ PT Jurisprudence Exam: Definitions (7 questions/17.5%) & Duties/Powers of Board of PT (2 questions/5%) Assistive Personnel ️Includes: PTA's, aides and other assets personnel who perform specific designated tasks to PT under the supervision of the PT General Supervision ️Supervising PT is on call and readily available (15 min) via telecommunications when the PTA is providing treatment interventions Readily Available ️15 minutes via telecommunications Interim Permit ️permit issued by the board that allows a person to practice as a PT or PTA for a specific time periods & under conditions (set by the board) before that person is issued a license or certificate Manual Therapy Techniques ️broad group of passive interventions in which PT's use their hands to administer skilled movements. Restricted certificate/license ️A license or certificate that the board has placed any restrictions or conditions (or both) as to the scope of practice, duration of licensed status, that the PT or PTA may provide services to. AZ PT State Board Members ️4 members are PT's (practicing at least 5 years); 1 member is a PTA (also 5 years); 2 public members appointed by the governor.
